Lexington Kentucky based, I graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Media Arts & Studies. While I was in school I worked on the student newscast and interned at the college creating various types of content to promote events and the college itself.
After graduation I started a position at the Sports Video department at the University. Here I worked as part of a group and independently on various projects with a variety of sports including highlights for football and baseball as well as traveling with the softball team to promote their postseason play. I was able to gain experience with many types of cameras and equipment. During this time I also filmed high school sports for LEX 18, a local news channel, where I had to learn to work as part of a fast paced-team.
I then began working on a new daily comedy and talk show, on the same news channel, called Live with Lee and Hayley, which transitioned to being called It’s On. I was responsible for all videography and editing for the show along with pitching ideas for new segments to the team and field producing many segments. There I worked as part of a small, close-knit group and needed to be able to work quickly and efficiently to get out packages that often have a quick turn around.
After things changed around during the covid-19 pandemic I moved to Prosper Media Group where I have produced content for large internal training departments, ad promoting travel across the country, and episodes of Emmy nominated tv shows. Having different goals and clients across my career has allowed me to grow in all areas of my work. If I don’t know how to do something, I’ll learn.
I love to make videos and have fun. I want to make videos that I enjoy, because I believe if I enjoy what I put in a video others will as well. I just want to continue doing what I love and having a good time.
